Video games publisher Sold Out is bringing its biggest ever lineup of titles to PAX East later this month, featuring playable demos for five uniquely different games, including three brand new titles joining the Sold Out family.
The three new titles – stealth-action sci-fi RPG Disjunction, steampunk action-adventure Gestalt: Steam & Cinder, and adorable co-op postal puzzler KeyWe – will feature alongside the highly anticipated music-based action-adventure No Straight Roads and hare-raising action-arcade game Radical Rabbit Stew, marking Sold Out’s largest ever presence at the show.
PAX attendees are invited to go hands-on with all five games at booth #30071 when the show kicks off Thursday, Feb. 27 through Sunday, March 1.
Disjunction (PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™, PC)
Set in the dystopian underworld of New York City in the year 2048, DISJUNCTION is a single-player, cyberpunk, stealth-action RPG that follows the intertwined narratives of three characters as they unravel a mystery that will change the fate of their city. Developed by Ape Tribe Games.
Releasing Summer 2020
Gestalt: Steam & Cinder (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)
GESTALT: STEAM & CINDER (previously GESTALT: VANGUARD) is a narrative-focused, epic 2D action-adventure set in a stunningly handcrafted steampunk world. Playing as Aletheia, a wandering soldier supercharged by a ferocious energy, players will experience a high-octane adventure filled with twists and turns on a journey of discovery. Developed by Metamorphosis Games.
A cooperative game for friends and families, KEYWE stars two small kiwi birds who work in a post office, which is hard work because they don’t have thumbs. Or hands. Jump, flap, peck and butt-slam your way across an interactive landscape of levers, bells and buttons – and get those messages delivered on time! Developed by Stonewheat & Sons.
No Straight Roads (PlayStation 4, PC)
Rock and EDM clash for supremacy in NO STRAIGHT ROADS, a music-based action adventure. Directed by Wan Hazmer, lead game designer of Final Fantasy XV, and Daim Dziauddin, concept artist of Street Fighter V, the game pits two passionate indie rock band members Mayday and Zuke against EDM empire No Straight Roads (NSR), whose tight grip on Vinyl City is smothering the expression of other music genres. Mayday and Zuke must lead a musical revolution to uncover NSR’s evil intentions and save the city from corruption. Developed by Metronomik.
Radical Rabbit Stew (PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC)
Grab your trusty spoon and prod those crazy rabbits into saucepans to free the space chefs. But think fast or the bunnies will gobble you up! With bite-size ‘pick-up & play’ action, award-winning puzzles, juicy pixel graphics and a delicious soundtrack, RADICAL RABBIT STEW is a hare-raising action-arcade game perfect for new players and 16-bit retro fans alike. Developed by Pugstorm.
Releasing July 16th
